Kolorit is a search for connection between the dancers of Tanz Bielefeld, the audience, and the colorful paintings of August Böckstiegel in the Peter August Böckstiegel museum.
Nine bodies move through the space alongside the visitors. The textures and vibrant colors of Böckstiegel’s paintings were the starting point for the movement, as well as for the music composed by Szymon Wójcik.
Individual colors, sounds and textures gradually come together, until everything dissolves into white noise and white light. A reminder that all colors, mixed together, become one.
